U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who represents Georgia’s 14th district, has utilized her social media platform to address several pressing issues recently. Greene has been serving in Congress since 2021, succeeding Tom Graves. These posts reflect her perspective on economic policy, government spending, and legislative procedures.

In a tweet dated April 3, 2025, Greene shared her support for the economic policies of former President Trump. "This is a fantastic explanation from @VP on exactly why we need Trump’s Tariffs! We are in so much debt, an almost inconceivable number, we cannot afford to be the world’s piggy bank. We need to start making things in America, reopen factories, and bring jobs back to" she stated, emphasizing the need for domestic manufacturing.

Later that day, at 15:35, Greene expressed her concern over unused government properties. She declared, "BILLIONS of your taxpayer dollars are being flushed down the drain to maintain EMPTY federal buildings! This is a total disgrace and yet another example of how the federal government abuses hardworking Americans. My next @DOGECommittee hearing is going to expose all of it." Her comments suggest forthcoming scrutiny on government expenditure.

Lastly, Greene addressed potential changes in legislative processes in an evening post on April 3, 2025. She warned about the implications of a resolution led by Democrat Anna Paulina Luna, tweeting, "If the Democrat’s resolution led by Anna Paulina Luna passes, they will add more reasons to proxy vote from home! And the next thing you know, old senile members of Congress will stay until they die and proxy vote from their nursing homes!!" This remark underscores her criticism of potential procedural changes in Congress.
