Marjorie Taylor Greene, a sitting member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district, shared her views on the current state of American manufacturing and economy via social media. Her comments focus primarily on the influence of tariffs and the economic policies of past presidents on American jobs and manufacturing.

On April 2, 2025, Marjorie Taylor Greene remarked on the origin of cars purchased in the United States. She stated that "Only 25% of the cars Americans buy are truly Made in America. That’s disgraceful." Greene credited President Trump's tariffs for an increase in domestically manufactured vehicles and a decrease in China's hold on the American industrial base.

Later that day, Greene posted about investment achievements under President Trump, contrasting them with those of the previous administration. Greene claimed, "President Trump has secured more investment in the United States in less than 75 Days than Joe Biden did in four years." The statement references an "America FIRST" policy she associates with Trump's administration.

Greene's further commentary highlighted the demand for American-made products. According to her, "77% of Americans prefer to buy Made in America products." Greene argued that tariffs lead to increased U.S. production, more jobs, and diversified non-Chinese-made product choices, aligning with the desires of American consumers.
