Free Bariatric Seminars Hosted by CHI Memorial Metabolic and Bariatric Care

CHI Memorial Hospital Georgia recently issued the following announcement.

CHI Memorial Metabolic and Bariatric Care will host free seminars in June on surgical weight loss options. These in-person seminars will be held at CHI Memorial Metabolic and Bariatric Care at 7405 Shallowford Road, Suite 160, Chattanooga, TN 37421. 

The seminars will be held from 3 - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday the weeks of June 6, June 13, June 20, and June 27.

Obesity can be devastating to a person’s health and self-esteem. These educational seminars are designed to help you better understand bariatric surgery and how it may benefit your health. Topics include: who is a good candidate for the procedure, what to expect during the recovery period, and lifestyle changes needed to foster a successful outcome. Attendees are asked to arrive at the seminar location 15 minutes early.

CHI Memorial is accredited by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP).  This means people in the Chattanooga region have access to some of the most effective weight loss surgery options along with a highly trained medical staff that supports individuals through their weight loss journey.

CHI Memorial is recognized as an Optum/United Bariatric Surgery Centers of Excellence and Aetna Bariatric Surgery Institute of Quality program.
