Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia's 14th district since 2021, recently shared her views on social media regarding significant developments in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and upcoming congressional activities.
On February 20, 2025, Greene expressed her support for Kash Patel as the new FBI Director. In her post, she stated: "Congratulations to America’s next FBI Director, @Kash_Patel! The FBI has been weaponized by deep-state Democrat operatives, creating a two-tiered justice system. Kash is the right man to restore the FBI’s integrity, drain the swamp, and end this injustice once and for all!"
The following day, on February 21, 2025, Greene reiterated her endorsement of Patel's appointment with another message: "This is the FBI Director America wants and needs!!! Congratulations @FBIDirectorKash!!!"
Later that day, Greene announced her excitement about chairing an upcoming hearing for the Committee on Oversight and Reform. She posted: "I’m excited to chair my second @DOGECommittee hearing as we investigate how foreign aid was utilized to undermine American interests around the world. You won’t want to miss this!!"
