Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, recently took to social media to announce and discuss activities related to government oversight and fiscal responsibility. Her posts emphasized an upcoming initiative by the DOGE Committee aimed at addressing financial inefficiencies within government operations.

On February 11, 2025, Greene announced the launch of "The War on Waste" by the DOGE Committee, stating, "The @DOGECommittee launches 'The War on Waste.' We’re getting to the bottom of the $2.7 TRILLION in improper and fraudulent government payments." She highlighted that this effort is not only about identifying waste but also solving it.

Later that day, Greene encouraged her followers to engage with the committee's work, writing "FOLLOW @DOGECommittee to tune in tomorrow at 10AM!" This call was made in anticipation of further discussions and actions planned by the committee.

In another post on February 11, she criticized Melanie Stansbury, a former bureaucrat and current ranking member of the DOGE Committee. Greene asserted that Stansbury's actions were more supportive of bureaucracy than democracy: "While attacking @elonmusk and @DOGE, Former Bureaucrat and Ranking Member of the @DOGECommittee, Melanie Stansbury, claims she is fighting for democracy. But she’s actually fighting for the BUREAUCRACY."
