On February 8, 2025, Rep. Greene encouraged her followers to stay informed about developments related to a congressional committee by stating: "FOLLOW @DOGECommittee to keep up-to-date on everything @DOGE in Congress. Our first hearing is Wednesday at 10AM!"
Later that day, she expressed support for a bill aimed at dismantling the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). She described the prospect of passing this legislation as "Such a beautiful sight! Now, Congress needs to pass my bill to ABOLISH the USAID, so it never ever comes back!"
In another post from February 8, Rep. Greene criticized USAID's funding allocations abroad, particularly those supporting gender and diversity initiatives. She detailed specific expenditures and reiterated her call for abolishing the agency: "USAID is wasting millions of taxpayer dollars to fund radical gender and DEI initiatives abroad: $2M to a Guatemalan group for “gender-affirming care” $2.7M to Nepal for LGBTI advocacy $1.5M to Serbia for LGBTQI+ DEI programs We must pass my bill and abolish USAID!!"
