Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Congress member representing Georgia's 14th district since 2021, has expressed her views on several issues through social media posts. Greene, who was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in 1996, currently resides in Rome.

On December 8, 2024, Rep. Greene shared her opinion regarding U.S. involvement in Syria. She stated that "The U.S. should not be involved in Syria." Greene criticized the idea of facilitating regime change to a leader associated with Al Qaeda and questioned the rationale behind previous regime change missions.

In another post dated December 9, 2024, Greene addressed allegations against public figures P Diddy and Jay Z regarding child rape accusations. She expressed her personal belief that "pedophiles should receive the death penalty if found guilty." She emphasized severe consequences for those involved in such crimes.

Later on December 9, 2024, Rep. Greene commented on the situation in Syria following political changes. She noted that while some support the overthrow of Assad, she is concerned about the potential persecution of Christians under sharia law now declared in Syria. She remarked that "Damascus is one of the earliest places where Christianity began," and shared her prayers for those affected.
