Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district, has recently expressed her views on government-funded media and legal proceedings involving former President Donald Trump through a series of social media posts.

On November 24, 2024, Rep. Greene called for the defunding of NPR, asserting that “government-funded media programs like NPR,” which she claims spread "nothing but Democrat propaganda," will be scrutinized by a subcommittee. "The congresswoman said government-funded media programs like NPR, which she claimed 'spread nothing but Democrat propaganda,' will be under the subcommittee’s microscope."

On November 25, 2024, she reiterated her stance against NPR by sharing an article from the New York Post titled "Marjorie Taylor Greene targets 'Democrat propaganda' NPR for budget cuts." "NEW YORK POST: Marjorie Taylor Greene targets 'Democrat propaganda' NPR for budget cuts"

Later on November 25, Rep. Greene celebrated what she termed as a significant victory for former President Trump and justice. She condemned what she described as fake charges used to persecute Trump due to his perceived threat to the Democratic regime and emphasized that political prosecution should not occur in America. "MAJOR VICTORY for President Trump and JUSTICE! These fake (and illegal) charges were used to persecute President Trump for being the biggest threat to the Democrat regime. Political prosecution should never happen in America!!"
