Gilmer County had unemployment rate of 3.3% in 2021

Gilmer County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 447 people out of the 31,047 living in Gilmer County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Gilmer County has increased compared to the 3.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Gilmer County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.5%.
