County of Walker recently issued the following announcement.
The following occurred at this meeting:
- Resolution to authorize the Tax Commissioner to waive penalties and interest on certain unpaid ad valorem taxes and fees
- Discussion on revising the Public Safety Fee
- Hire a new audit firm
- Consider a utility easement
- Purchase orders for vehicles for the Sheriff’s Office and for reconstruction of the Annex II wall
