97 percent of applicants to Covenant College were admitted for fall 2018

At Covenant College, 98 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Lookout Mountain enrolled 1,046 students in fall 2018, including 1,002 in undergraduate and 44 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

26 percent of undergraduates are residents of Georgia, and 70 percent are residents of other states. 4 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (82 percent) and two or more races (5 percent).

The school admitted 97 percent of the 672 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 38 percent enrolled.
