Among the many ethnicities represented in Whitfield County schools, Hispanic was the most prevalent among Whitfield County students in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.
Of the 18,938 students attending Whitfield County schools, 56.1% were Hispanic. White students were the second most common ethnicity, making up 36.6% of Whitfield County student body.
In the previous school year, Hispanic students were also the most common group in Whitfield County, representing 55.2% of the student body.
In the 2023-24 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public schools in the county dropped 0.9% when compared to the previous year.
