In the week ending Feb. 7, one gas station in Catoosa County sold premium gas at the lowest reported price of $2.82 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Reported prices for premium gas in Catoosa County averaged $3.33 per gallon.
Catoosa County had 23 of 47 reported gas stations offering premium gas.
For comparison, the average price of premium gas in Georgia was $3.47 per gallon for the week ending Feb. 7, unchanged from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration expects global oil stockpiles to keep growing into 2026, a trend that could weigh on crude prices in the near term.
