Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Georgia's 14th District since 2021, recently shared insights and opinions on her official Twitter account. Greene, who succeeded Tom Graves, was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and holds a BBA from the University of Georgia.
On February 17, 2025, Greene posted about the logistical aspects of serving in Congress. She stated: "Based on your comments which I fully appreciate and don’t disagree with, I’ll share more information about serving in Congress. For the yellow weeks, when we are in session, we have to fly into DC from our districts so that is a full travel day for many of us."
Later that evening, she clarified her travel arrangements to Washington D.C., noting that she does not use private jets. On February 17, she tweeted: "I forgot to add, I don’t fly on private jets and taxpayer funds only pay for our commercial flights to DC and back home. Actually yesterday I flew on Frontier! Middle seat "
In another tweet dated February 18, Greene expressed skepticism over financial management issues within the government. She wrote: "$4.7 TRILLION in untraceable payments!!!!! That’s 4.7 trillion reasons that make it hard to believe this was a mistake or incompetence even."
