How many people were old enough to vote in Walker County during 2021?

Of the 67,772 citizens living in Walker County in 2021, 78.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 53,147 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 25,838 were male, constituting 48.6%, and 27,309 were female, making up 51.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Walker County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.2%.
