AAHOA’s Washington DC Area Regional Director, Deepak Patel, was recently interviewed by a reporter with NPR regarding workforce shortages.

On LinkedIn, AAHOA President & CEO Laura Lee Blake thanked Deepak for sharing his story, which is so similar to what many AAHOA Members are experiencing now.

"Before the pandemic, we had a lot of people just walking through the door, filling out an application, but since then, we had nobody," Patel said in the article. "Nobody wants to work, actually. We're still surprised.”
