Northside Radiation Oncology Consultants welcomes Dr. Sarah Westergaard.
Dr. Westergaard received her Bachelor of Science in chemistry and medical services from Mississippi College where she graduated cum laude. After earning her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, she went on to complete her internship and residency at Emory University. Throughout her training, Dr. Westergaard has focused her research on lung cancer. Her special interests also include breast and gynecologic cancers.

Suburban Hematology Oncology Associates welcomes Dr. Haris Hatic.
Dr. Hatic is board certified in internal medicine and is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology. He began seeing patients in August at the cancer group's Lawrenceville and Duluth office locations.
Dr. Hatic is interested in addressing challenges of access to cancer care, the management of lung, breast, GI and GU malignancies. His most recent research focused on the management of lymphomas such as Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
