Hall County is pleased to announce the hiring of Ellis Still to the role of Assistant Director of Planning & Development.
“Ellis brings more than 15 years of community and economic development experience to Hall County, most recently serving as the Community Development Director for Union City. We are excited for the wealth of knowledge and expertise that he will bring in service to the citizens of Hall County,” said Randi Doveton, director of Hall County Planning & Development.
As Assistant Director of Planning & Development, Still will assist with the day-to-day operations of the department, which is responsible for major functions of land use, permits, business licenses and other major functions related to development in the community.
“Hall County remains a wonderful place to live, work and play, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such a dedicated team to serve the citizens of this great community,” said Still.
Still is a graduate of Alabama A&M University, where he received a B.S. in Urban and Community Planning. He has previously worked for Forsyth County, along with the cities of Duluth, Riverdale and Union City. He began his new role on Aug. 1.
