Ace Hardware Blue Ridge to give away American flags

Ace Hardware Blue Ridge will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Georgia lost 640 soldiers in the Korean war and 1,125 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at Old Hwy 76 East, Blue Ridge will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Brown-Davis-Elliot-Woody Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Ace Hardware Blue Ridge while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Ace Hardware Blue Ridge is located at Old Hwy 76 East, Blue Ridge, Georgia. This location is owned by Alta Lance, represented by Mike Baker and managed by Carl Mcclendon.
