Of the 9,877 people living in Fort Oglethorpe in 2020, 57.4 percent (5,671) were women and 42.6 percent (4,206) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NW Georgia News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 372. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,008 females and 985 males.
