St. Luke’s Health, part of CommonSpirit, has received several top honors for specialty care from Healthgrades for 2026. The recognitions include being named among America’s 100/50 Best Hospitals in areas such as Cardiac Care, Cardiac Surgery, Coronary Intervention, Prostate, and Spine. These are the highest distinctions that Healthgrades awards in these service lines.
The health system also earned seven Specialty Excellence Awards, placing some of its hospitals in the top 10% nationwide for specialties like Orthopedics, Prostate Surgery, Cardiac Care, Pulmonary Care, and Neurosciences. Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and Patients Medical Center were recognized as leading facilities in Texas for cardiac and prostate services.
Additionally, St. Luke’s received 20 Five Star Ratings across various types of care. These ratings reflect superior clinical outcomes for common conditions and procedures.

Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center was ranked #1 in Texas for coronary intervention and placed among the top five hospitals statewide for cardiac care and cardiac surgery. The hospital also received multiple other awards including:

Healthgrades bases its annual hospital performance analysis on patient outcomes such as risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates across more than 30 common conditions at about 4,500 hospitals nationwide.
