On Friday, March 21, former Southeast Whitfield County High School standout Cecil Lofton’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, lost 17-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UIC Flames.
The game took place at Itchy Jones Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Flames this season.
The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Itchy Jones Stadium against UIC Flames.
