Sen. Colton Moore, a Republican who was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2023 representing the 53rd District, recently shared a series of posts on social media outlining his stance on gun rights and campaign activities as he runs for U.S. Congress in Georgia’s 14th District.

On February 18, Moore posted about his appearance at the Cobb County GOP meeting, emphasizing his position on the Second Amendment: “Last night at the Cobb County GOP, I made one thing clear:

The Second Amendment isn’t a suggestion.
It’s a God-given right.

While the left pushes gun control and weak Republicans cave, I’m running for U.S. Congress in Georgia’s 14th District to do the opposite:

In another post later that evening, Moore called for supporters to join him in Rome, Georgia: “SIGN WAVERS! Please join us tomorrow @ 10:45am to show President Trump our thanks for supporting us over the years.

PLEASE BRING EVERYONE and see you there! https://t.co/WjzycXVnfi” (posted February 19, 2026).

Shortly after midnight on February 19, Moore expressed gratitude to those who attended the Cobb County GOP event: “I just want to say thank you.

Last night at the Cobb County GOP, I had the chance to meet so many incredible patriots who love this country and refuse to give up on it.

To everyone who showed up, prayed with me, encouraged me, and stood with this campaign, I’m truly grateful. https://t.co/v75vzsHivI” (posted February 19, 2026).

Moore succeeded Jeff Mullis as state senator after winning election in 2023. He is now seeking a seat in Congress while continuing to engage with constituents and highlight issues such as gun rights during public appearances and online communications.
