Sen. Colton Moore, a Republican who was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2023 to represent the state’s 53rd Senate District, has recently shared a series of posts on social media outlining his political positions and campaign priorities.

On January 1, 2026, Moore posted a message on X (formerly Twitter) that can be viewed at this link.

The following day, January 2, 2026, Moore emphasized his support for former President Donald Trump and criticized current economic conditions under President Joe Biden. In his post he stated: “I’ve been a hardcore Trump supporter from day one, and now more than ever, President Trump needs real fighters in Congress to protect his legacy and fix the disaster Joe Biden left behind. Skyrocketing prices at the gas pump and grocery store are crushing families, and we can’t”.

On January 3, 2026, Moore addressed concerns about financial practices in Congress. He wrote: “I’m tired of Congress getting rich while hardworking Georgians fall behind. If I’m elected, I’ll back a full ban on members of Congress trading stocks. They should serve the people, not their portfolios.”

Moore replaced previous state senator Jeff Mullis when he was elected in 2023 as representative for Georgia’s 53rd Senate District.
