Three Saint Joseph Health facilities—Saint Joseph Berea, Saint Joseph London, and Saint Joseph Jessamine—were recognized as “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” for 2026, according to a March 13 announcement. This recognition marks the seventh consecutive year for Saint Joseph London, the second consecutive and fourth overall for Saint Joseph Jessamine, and the third time in four years for Saint Joseph Berea.

The annual Best Places to Work initiative is organized by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management. The program aims to encourage companies across Kentucky to improve their workplace environments through ongoing assessment and employee feedback.

John Yanes, President of Saint Joseph Berea and Saint Joseph London, said, “Our teams are honored to be recognized on the ‘Best Places to Work in Kentucky’ list again this year. This long-standing achievement reflects our commitment to creating a safe and supportive workplace for our clinical and non-clinical caregivers and patients, which is a core component of the healing environment and quality of care we provide to the communities we serve. The work of our caregivers makes recognitions like these possible, and we remain committed to creating a workplace where they can learn, grow and thrive.”

Terry Wooten, President of Saint Joseph Jessamine, said, “We are thrilled to be recognized on the ‘Best Places to Work in Kentucky’ list for the second consecutive year. We strive to provide a positive, supportive work environment for our teams, whose commitment to patient care and humankindness make our mission possible. Earning this recognition for the second straight year is a testament to our continued focus in ensuring our caregivers have the support and structure they need to learn, grow and thrive.”

Adam Gossom, Site Administrator at Saint Joseph Jessamine added: “Our caregivers come to work every day, providing the highest quality of patient care and maintaining the standards of excellence we strive for. We’re proud to create an environment that fosters opportunities for our caregivers to improve their skillsets and feel supported at work.”

Companies are selected based on evaluations of their employee policies as well as results from internal surveys. Final rankings will be announced at an awards dinner scheduled for June 18 at Central Bank Center in Lexington.
