On Friday, Feb. 28, former Ringgold High School standout Sam Mills’ current college team, the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels, won 14-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Hanover Panthers.
The game took place at Hermance Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Stormy Petrels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4:30 p.m. at Scotland Yard against Maryville Scots.
