CommonSpirit – Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga has been named one of the nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals by Premier, Inc., with results published by Modern Healthcare. This marks the eighth time the hospital has received this recognition. For 2026, Memorial Hospital was also ranked first among Top Teaching Hospitals without a Cardiovascular Residency Program.

Hospitals included in the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals list outperformed peers across 21 measures such as clinical outcomes, operational efficiency and patient experience. The program aims to provide data-driven benchmarks for hospital leaders seeking to improve care for heart patients nationwide. The selection process is based on objective analysis of publicly available data; hospitals cannot apply or pay to be included.
