This marks the eighth time the hospital has received this recognition. For 2026, Memorial Hospital was also ranked first among Top Teaching Hospitals without a Cardiovascular Residency Program.

The program aims to provide data-driven benchmarks for hospital leaders seeking to improve care for heart patients nationwide. The selection process is based on objective analysis of publicly available data; hospitals cannot apply or pay to be included.
