CommonSpirit – Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga has been named one of the nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals by Premier, Inc., with results published by Modern Healthcare. This marks the eighth time the hospital has received this recognition. For 2026, Memorial Hospital was also ranked first among Top Teaching Hospitals without a Cardiovascular Residency Program.

Kevin Hopkins, Market Vice President for the Cardiovascular Service Line at Memorial Hospital, said, “From our physicians, nurses and technologists to our support staff and administrators – everyone plays a vital role in delivering the highest quality, patient-centered care.  It’s their collaborative spirit, clinical excellence and profound compassion that continually drives us to achieve outstanding outcomes for our patients. This award reaffirms our belief that by putting the patient at the heart of everything we do, we continue to set the standard for cardiovascular care in our community.”
