At 9:25 a.m. on January 2, Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Kentucky, delivered its first baby of 2026. The newborn, Adalynn Faith, was welcomed by parents Mackenzie Abell and Christopher Jackson from Springfield. According to the hospital, Adalynn weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces and measured 20 inches long.
The Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation marked the occasion by presenting the family with gifts such as a blanket, stuffed animal, swaddlers, sleepers, onesies, bibs, diapers, wipes and other items for mother and child.
