Aparajita Spencer, MD, and Tajuana Prater, FNP-C, have joined CHI Memorial Breast Care Associates. Dr. Spencer completed her medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a general surgery residency at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. She also completed a fellowship in breast surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Tajuana Prater holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale. She has 18 years of nursing experience with CHI Memorial and has been recognized twice with the Nurse of Excellence award. Prater is originally from Ringgold, Georgia.
Dr. Spencer and Prater will be working alongside Betsy Washburn, MD; Angela Reich, WHNP-C; and Casey Waddle, FNP-C at CHI Memorial Breast Care Associates. The practice operates four locations: Chattanooga (605 Glenwood Drive), Hixson (2051 Hamill Road), Ooltewah (6401 Mountain View Road), and Ringgold (4700 Battlefield Parkway). Dr. Spencer and Prater will see patients primarily in Chattanooga and Ringgold.
