The campus operates as part of the Dade County School District headquartered in Trenton.

The Georgia Department of Education’s Fiscal Year 2026-1 report states more than 1.7 million students attended public schools in Georgia. Elementary schools enrolled the most students (787,206, or 45.9%), followed by 388,733 in middle schools (22.7%) and 539,092 in high schools (31.4%).
Statewide, 20.7% of Georgia students were chronically absent—missing 10% or more days—during 2024, the Georgia Department of Education reports. In response, GaDOE began a state initiative using an attendance dashboard, public awareness efforts and more support for districts in need to raise attendance rates.
Georgia lawmakers in 2025 approved legislation banning expulsion for students solely due to absenteeism. The measure also introduced new reporting rules and supports alternative diploma pathways.
Georgia had an average student-teacher ratio of about 14:1 as of 2026, according to Public School Review, in comparison to the national average of 15:1.
