Primary care physicians and advanced practice providers are being recognized by CommonSpirit Health during National Primary Care Week. The organization highlighted the essential role these professionals play in patient health, community well-being, and healthcare delivery systems.

According to CommonSpirit Health, primary care providers are often the first contact for patients. They offer preventive services, manage chronic illnesses, and help patients address complex physical and mental health concerns.

The organization also noted that its primary care teams have adapted to new technologies and changing healthcare models while maintaining a strong commitment to quality care. “Their work has a profound impact on the lives of countless individuals, and we’re incredibly grateful for their tireless efforts,” stated CommonSpirit Health.
