CommonSpirit Health reaches two-year agreement with Cigna for Tennessee and Georgia facilities

CommonSpirit Health announced on April 10 that it has reached a two-year agreement with Cigna, allowing members of Cigna’s employer-sponsored Open Access and LocalPlus plans to continue accessing care at CommonSpirit – Memorial Hospitals and related services in Tennessee and Georgia. The new agreement, which began on February 1, covers CommonSpirit Medical Group as well as The Chattanooga Heart Institute physicians and advanced practice providers.

The continuation of this relationship is significant for patients who rely on these facilities for local healthcare needs. According to the announcement, “This agreement helps patients access local, quality care. CommonSpirit’s goal was to ensure it could continue to meet patient needs now and in the future.” The organization said it remains committed to providing quality care through its hospitals, medical group practices, and specialty institutes.

Chi Memorial Hospital Georgia is among the featured hospitals included in this network of care sites and freestanding outpatient imaging centers, according to the official website.
