Former Murray County High School star Mattie Nuckolls and her current team, the Carson-Newman Eagles, were defeated by the Grand Valley State Lakers, 96-48, in the NCAA Division II Tournament on Tuesday, March 24.

The matchup was held at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse at 6 p.m.
