On Sunday, June 1, former Northwest Whitfield County High School standout Cade Fisher’s current collegiate team the Auburn Tigers won 11-1 against the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park at 7:05 p.m. and was the first matchup against the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the tournament.

The Auburn Tigers’ next game will take place on Friday, June 6 at 9 p.m. at Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park.
